As Deanna Loiseau notes, “I love trying all things coffee and I’ve been pleased with the 3 drinks I’ve had already! … So far the customer service has been great from the drive-thru window, and super quick!” This attentiveness shines even in busy moments, exemplified by an employee helping Jericka Kiss find the perfect peppermint-flavored coffee despite the rush — a kind, knowledgeable gesture that firmly cemented her 10/10 rating.
The quality and flavor profile of the coffee is consistently praised by patrons who can taste the difference in every cup. Jason Freitag was captivated by their featured Ethiopian brew, describing it as “rich and buttery, with hints of raspberry and chocolate,” topping off his visit with superb service and knowledgeable recommendations. Meanwhile, Paulina found the Black Squirrel coffee “quite yummy” and appreciated the value of their affordable bagels, highlighting Brewed Awakenings as a go-to stop whenever she’s in town.
Beyond the menu, the shop’s layout and accessibility enhance the overall experience. Derek Kendrick appreciates the “easy access in and out with plenty of parking” and drive-thru option but encourages customers to step inside and enjoy the warm, friendly staff, making each visit not just a coffee stop but a moment of connection.

I loved their Black Squirrel coffee, it was quite yummy! The bagels were pretty cheap too, but you do have to spread your own cream cheese. Which for the price is not a bad deal! I will definitely be going back when I'm in the area.
I love this place, and I just found it! I love trying all things coffee and I've been pleased with the 3 drinks I've had already! Just moves to the area and this is my first stop on the way to shopping! Love the little details they add to the drinks like coffee beans and whipped cream straws! So far the customer service has been great from the drive thru window, and super quick! Cant wait to try everything on the menu!
I will ALWAYS recommend coming here. The coffee is top notch and will never disappoint. As well as it always has flavor. But today one of their workers helped me pick out a flavor coffee while they were super busy. He didn't skip a beat when I said I wanted something peppermint(y) and suggested their peppermint bark coffee. 10/10 was so good!
Only regret is not stopping here for the first time, much sooner than today! The superior quality of their coffee @ more than reasonable pricing! I tried the featured brew (Ethiopian) which the sign said, "rich and buttery, with hints of raspberry and chocolate." It certainly did not disappoint! Amazing service and was welcomed and informed of their options and brews. I will stop here every time I pass thru Morris!! $3 for a large coffee! Bye bye gas station and starburnts coffee!!
Amazing coffee stop with too many options for just one visit, we will definitely be back. Easy access in and out with plenty of parking. Also have a drive through if needed, but be sure to come inside and chat with the friendly staff. Orange Goblin was yummy, thanks!
We got the macadamia latte and breakfast blend drip coffee. Both drinks were great!the barista was happy to explain the drip coffees they had and their flavors. Mostly tables with chairs but they did have a couple of oversized chairs also. It was a little chilly inside!
This man truly can make almost any coffee you want. Any style, any milk, any combo although he doesn't *actually have goat milk. Anything you want is his motto. Oh and he's from Portland so the man knows coffee. Did I mention he knows coffee?
Hi! I figured I would share a review because I’ve been here many times over the last few years and it remains my favorite coffee spot across the Chicagoland area and YES, I’ve been to many. First off, I’m not sure why there are so many people in these reviews complaining about the baristas and/or the customer service. Everyone we’ve ordered from is extremely nice and accommodating, including the wonderful owner(s). If you take ten years to decide and hold up the line you can’t expect workers or the people behind you in line to love that. There’s literally a menu before you get up to the window and the menu inside is even bigger. I’ve always been the type to know what I want before I order it. Do your own research or if you have a question, formulate your question prior to ordering so you aren’t holding everyone else up. It’s really that simple. My boyfriend and I go through their drive thru at least a couple times a week. We order things like The Boss, Lucky Leprechaun, The Warrior (blended and delicious!), bagels, etc. I’ve never had a bad experience with the service or quality of food/drinks. I stopped going to places like Starbucks and Dunkin and instead bring my money here because of the consistent service and top tier quality. If you’re on the fence about trying this place just DO IT. I’m about to head up there to try something pumpkin spice related.
